The Grand Theater Remodel & New Building

The Grand Theater Remodel project was a true transformation of Escondido’s historic Ritz Theater, breathing new life into this downtown landmark. The project not only revitalized the theater but also included the addition of a sleek, 10,000-square-foot multi-use building adjacent to it, designed to serve as a versatile space for the community. Core Contracting played a key role in this revitalization, adding a new, durable roof to the theater and completing extensive rough carpentry on both buildings. This project blended the charm of the past with the functionality of the future, creating a dynamic cultural hub that honors the city’s history while looking ahead to new opportunities for entertainment and community engagement.
