The Cross Elementary School project in Imperial, CA, was a bold and ambitious undertaking, transforming the campus with six brand-new, wood-framed buildings and an additional roof structure on a seventh building—spanning an impressive 60,000+ square feet. Delivered under a multi-prime contract with Erickson-Hall Construction Co. as the Construction Manager, this project showcased cutting-edge construction techniques, including Redbuilt’s innovative open-web, pin-connected truss system. What truly set this project apart was the dedication and resilience of the construction teams, who worked tirelessly through the scorching Imperial Valley summer, where temperatures regularly soared above 110°F, proving that nothing could stand in the way of progress.
